Still Wearing Last Night was developed in Tokyo and draws inspiration from Japan’s visible culture of public intoxication, where late-night excess often unfolds quietly within ordered urban space. Reimagining intoxicated bodies as suspended figures caught between performance and collapse, the series stages anonymous individuals within real city environments to explore collective fatigue and emotional overflow. Positioned between documentary impulse and constructed image, the work reflects on how private vulnerability momentarily surfaces within the public sphere.
